itinerary
Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, transfer to the hotel in the city center.
Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is home to an intriguing mix of French colonial buildings, ornate pagodas and modern buildings. Visit the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, designed and built by Gustav Eiffel. A stroll along Dong Khoi Street, the bustling artery of downtown Saigon, is a great way to feel the pulse of the city.
Explore Vietnam's history with a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. This massive underground network was home to thousands of people during the war. Enter the tunnels to get a glimpse of underground life and talk to Uncle Nam, a war veteran who lived in them for 12 years. Back in Ho Chi Minh City, stroll through Chinatown, admire Thien Hau Pagoda, and browse Bin Tay Market.
There's plenty of time to relax and enjoy the soft sand and blue sea here on Ninh Van Bay. If you want to explore, you can venture out with local fishermen to learn their unique fishing methods. You can also take a romantic cruise on a traditional boat, complete with drinks and canapés. For complete relaxation, we recommend a Vietnamese wellness trip at the resort's Spa.
Today it's time to step away from the beautiful views to Nha Trang Airport for your stopover flight to Ho Chi Minh City and your international flight back home.
After breakfast, say goodbye to the savannah and board the transfer that will take you to the airport to start the journey back home.
You will have the opportunity to witness huge herds of wildebeest crossing crocodile-infested rivers and moving across grasslands. For the best panoramic views of the herds, take to the skies with a hot air balloon (extra).
