We will take you to the Valley of the Kings, Tutankhamun's final resting place, and to many other imposing temples and necropolises that still have the power to amaze and inspire us after more than 4,500 years.

We'll be there to greet you when you land in Cairo. You can relax and refresh yourself at your riverside hotel in the city centre, where you will stay for 3 nights. It is the perfect place to visit the city and the surrounding area.
Cairo has a lot to offer visitors. Your private Egyptologist will take you on a trip to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, where you can see macabre mummies and exquisite treasures found in Tutankhamun's tomb. Afterwards, head to the bustling Khan el-Khalili Bazaar and prepare to bargain for rugs, food and spices. After sunset, you will have the option to see the light show at the pyramids.
Start the day heading south from Cairo to Memphis and the Pyramid of Djoser, considered to be the oldest stone structure in the world. Then we will go to the famous Great Pyramids. On the Giza plateau, you will see the iconic figure of the Sphinx that is still on guard. You can enter the Solar Boat Museum, which houses funerary barges and gives a fascinating insight into the ancient Egyptians' belief in the afterlife.
After a flight to Aswan, it's time to hop aboard your Nile cruise on the magnificent Sanctuary Nile Adventurer. After lunch, you can explore the laid-back city of Aswan, which was once one of the most strategically important sites in Ancient Egypt. After lunch, you can take a Felucca ride around Elephantine Island and Lord Kitchener's Botanical Gardens.
Start the day with a boat ride to Philae Temple, located on Agilkia Island. Later, back on board, you can learn how to prepare some Egyptian delights from the resident Chef. While eating, the cruise will travel to the Temple of Kom Ombo, crocodile god Sobek, in Edfu. Tonight's dinner will be followed by oriental music, with dancing for all.
This morning, visit the Temple of Horus, dedicated to the falcon-headed god. You will later be guided through the Greco-Roman Temple of Khnum in Esna before enjoying afternoon tea as you sail to Luxor.
While having breakfast, the Sanctuary Nile Adventurer will sail towards Luxor, where you will spend the day exploring the banks of the Nile. Disembark on the east bank and an Egyptologist will take you around the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak, which took over 1,000 years to build. In the West Bank, there's the Valley of the Kings and the Colossi of Memnon to explore.
