Welcome to the most famous reserve in the country, where your wild retreat awaits. Drop your bags and head straight for the hills of the reserve in a 4×4 vehicle, with your eyes wide open for the Big 5.
On the way back, walk to the bonfire for the sunset. Overlooking the Mara River, it is often possible to spot hippos and crocodiles as you relax and have your refreshment.
Spend the next two days exploring the ancient Masai Mara with an expert guide. Set out across the acacia-dotted plains, home to the Masai tribes, looking for leopards, elephants and rhinos. Between July and August, you will have the opportunity to witness huge herds of wildebeest crossing crocodile-infested rivers and moving through the pastures. For the best panoramic views of the herds, take to the skies with a hot air balloon (extra).
Enjoy a morning walk before your flight to Lake Manyara. Upon arrival, you will be met and transported to the Ngorongoro Crater, a vast green basin of savannah and the largest volcanic caldera in the world. Your base for the next few nights will be a tent camp that opens onto the jungle. Breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the scenery as you dine al fresco.

This morning, the tour will be done in a Land Cruiser, specially adapted for 360 degree views. The trip will take 3 hours, depending on how many times you stop to soak up the country of big animals or how long your picnic takes. Arrive at your next campsite in the late afternoon and relax with a cocktail and sofa safari.
